Much of this cluster sells to overseas technology marketers. Several firms list head or sales offices in the US, UK or Dubai and use Pune as their delivery base; UnboundB2B, for example, names Dubai as its headquarters and Kharadi as its delivery centre. Typical services are content syndication, account-based marketing, intent-led campaigns and lead programmes graded as MQL, HQL or BANT, alongside appointment setting by phone and email. Ziff Davis Performance Marketing came out of the merger of Salesify and DemandShore and is part of Ziff Davis, the Nasdaq-listed media group.
Pune agencies that call or message Indian prospects work under two regimes. TRAI's customer preference regulations of 2018, amended in February 2025, require promotional voice calls to use 140-series numbers and punish repeat offences by unregistered telemarketers with a six-month usage cap and then disconnection for up to two years. A further amendment dated 18 September 2026 adds rules for application-initiated calls. Personal data handled in India falls under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, whose Rules were notified on 14 November 2025 with an eighteen-month phase-in.
